About the Role
Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions. As an Account Manager Trainee on the AMPD team, you will learn the workflows and best practices of the customer service side of the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn to route policy documents and client notices.
- Develop a working knowledge of insurance carrier websites and navigation.
- Follow up with carriers for pending policy coverage changes and cancelations.
- Review renewal policies and endorsements for quality assurance.
- Obtain loss history.
- Issue insurance certificates.
- Participate in professional development trainings.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- College degree or a combination of education and comparable work experience.
- Analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Energy to carry out assignments via computer work.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Cautiousness and a desire to follow procedure.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Discipline to stay on-task.
Qualifications (Plus)
- Intermediate computer skills including Word, Outlook, & Excel.
- Currently hold, or be able to obtain with 90 days, a Florida 4-40 license and/or 2-20 license.
