About the Role

The Primary English Teacher will design and deliver engaging English lessons for primary-grade learners, aligned with the school’s curriculum and philosophy. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Siddhanta Intellectual School in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging English lessons for primary-grade learners.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Facilitate interactive classroom activities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a supportive learning atmosphere that encourages reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Integrate value education and experiential learning methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues.
• Participate in school events.
• Maintain regular communication with families regarding student development.

Qualifications

• Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience in primary or elementary education.
• Lesson Planning and Education skills, including the ability to design structured, age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Effective Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
• Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
• Formal teacher training or certification is preferred.
• Experience with activity-based, experiential learning methods and value-based education, ideally in CBSE or similar curricula.
• Ability to create an inclusive, learner-centered classroom.
• Ability to manage student behavior positively.
• Ability to use basic educational technology.
