Physiotherapist

About the Role

The Physiotherapist will work full time on-site at Saumya Arthroscopy & Sports Knee Clinic in Ahmedabad, supporting patients across the full spectrum of knee conditions and surgeries.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessing patients’ functional status.
• Designing individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Providing hands-on therapy and exercise-based interventions for pre- and post-operative knee care.
• Collaborating with arthroscopic surgeons.
• Monitoring progress and updating treatment plans.
• Documenting clinical findings and outcomes.
• Educating patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term joint health.
• Ensuring adherence to clinic protocols and high standards of safety and patient comfort.
• Participating in case discussions.
• Maintaining accurate records.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of rehabilitation protocols.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in musculoskeletal assessment, knee joint rehabilitation, and post-surgical recovery management.
• Skills in exercise prescription, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities appropriate for sports injuries and orthopedic conditions.
• Skills in patient communication, education, and counseling.
• Skills in documentation, record-keeping, and basic use of digital tools or electronic medical records.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to manage a clinical caseload efficiently.
• Ability to maintain professional ethics and confidentiality.
• Willingness to stay updated with evidence-based physiotherapy practices.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration or licensure as applicable.
• Prior experience in orthopedics, sports physiotherapy, or knee-focused rehabilitation is highly desirable.
