Position Overview

Seeking a seasoned SAP S/4HANA FI Lead Consultant with SAP S/4HANA FI functional technical experience to execute and deliver a complex migration project from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. Responsible for the configuration of the SAP S/4HANA Target System to receive selected data from a current SAP ECC system for a seamless transition. Provides expert guidance and support to clients throughout configuration build, testing, and cutover activities for their journey to SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading Workshops (AS IS / TO BE Process) to map requirements from business process understanding, cost management and reporting, integration with other modules and systems, and overall business strategy.
• Providing expert guidance and support in SAP FI including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.
• Working with the SAP S/4HANA Core Team to configure and customize SAP S/4HANA functionalities to meet client requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Developing technical solutions and enhancements to support data migration, integration, and reporting requirements.
• Providing guidance and support with S/4 HANA transformation projects, including configuration, Data Migration, functional expertise, troubleshooting, and user training.
• Designing and optimizing controlling processes to meet business needs.
• Business Process Analysis and Optimization:
• Working closely with finance and control departments to understand their processes and needs.
• Analyzing existing financial processes and suggesting improvements.
• Ensuring the SAP system is aligned with business financial operations and reporting requirements.
• Testing, Training, and Support:
• Developing and executing test plans, scenarios, and scripts to validate SAP S/4HANA configurations and functionalities.
• Conducting system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing to ensure system reliability, accuracy, and performance.
• Collaborating with business users to resolve issues, address concerns, and implement solutions.
• Training end-users on the functionality of SAP S/4HANA FI modules.
• Providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FI issues.
• Integration and Data Migration:
• Ensuring seamless integration of S/4 Finance Accounting with other SAP modules like Order to Cash, Sourcing Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
• Overseeing data migration from SAP ECC/legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Working with the Selective Data/Bluefield Migration Team on the migration of data from Customers SAP ECC System to target SAP S/4HANA System.
• Collaborating with data migration and technical teams on activities regarding data extraction, transformation, and loading into SAP S/4HANA during build, test, and cutover phases.
• Reporting and Analytics:
• Developing and maintaining financial accounting reports and dashboards using SAP tools.
• Assisting in the utilization of SAP S/4HANA's embedded analytics capabilities.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
• Acting as the primary point of contact for key business and IT stakeholders.
• Providing regular updates, progress reports, and presentations on project status and milestones.
• Proactively engaging with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, address concerns, and obtain feedback.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
