Investment Banking Associate

We are partnering with a well-established mid-market investment bank looking to hire an Associate to join its growing Consumer & Retail Investment Banking team in New York City. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded advisory platform, working on M&A transactions across the Consumer & Retail sector, with significant deal exposure, direct interaction with senior bankers, and meaningful responsibility throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute M&A and strategic advisory transactions across the Consumer & Retail sector.
• Develop and review detailed financial models, valuations, and transaction analyses.
• Prepare client presentations, marketing materials, and transaction documentation.
• Work closely with senior bankers, corporate clients, and financial sponsors.
• Support junior bankers and contribute to business development initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

• Current Investment Banking Associate or experienced Analyst ready to step up.
• Strong M&A execution experience, ideally within Consumer & Retail.
• Background at a Bulge Bracket, Elite Boutique, or reputable mid-market investment bank.
• Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a lean, execution-focused environment.
