Key Responsibilities

• Work in a full-time position – 72-80 hours per pay period.
• 12-hour shifts – nights, days, or variable (based on unit need).
• Weekend Rotations (based on unit needs).
• Unit Orientation – paired with Preceptors for 8 to 12* weeks depending on the unit/specialty you are hired onto *(some specialty areas longer than 12 weeks).
• 12-month Novice RN Resident Program supports new nurses’ transition from academic to clinical settings, fostering leadership, critical thinking, professional role development, skill enhancement, and continued learning.
• Nurse Residency sessions held twice a month for 3 months, then every month thereafter during the first year.
• Mentoring and support for the new graduates’ professional well-being throughout the first year of practice.
• Service line leaders coordinate additional observation and CEU experiences to match the unique patient population and services offered in their departments.
• Building of relationships across the hospital during your 1st year of practice.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• RN nursing program graduate (ADN, BSN, or MSN).
• Less than 12 months of RN work experience.
