Intern, Appraisal & Consulting (Part-Time)

About the Role

This position is a part-time temporary Hybrid internship opportunity. The role will provide support to commercial real estate professionals on the appraisal and consulting and/or valuation management team, on a national basis, on all major property types, for national clients which include financial institutions, pension funds, and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Involved with performing valuations and/or appraisal reviews
• Manage workflow to produce on-time deliveries
• Help execute portfolio valuations and large consulting engagements through implementation of organizational and technical skills
• Communication/coordinate with market participants, clients, and co-workers
• Review 3rd party appraisal reports
• Research property and market information
• Analyze subject and comparable data
• Develop appraisal and consulting reports and other deliverables
• Work independently on projects and also collaborate ‘face to face’ as a team player
• Managing processes and procedures
• Track the entire workflow process from beginning to end
• Other activities as may be assigned by your manager

Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree – preferred fields of study include Real Estate, Accounting, Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Attention to detail and strong organization skills

Special Requirements

• The employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employment.
