Procurement Agent (Procurement Agent-General)

About the Role

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Berkeley or Hazelwood, Missouri. This position is for 1st shift and is 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
• Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.
• Integrates program, customer, product and program strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
• Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
• Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
• Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

For Associate Level 2

• Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
• Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Microsoft Office
• SAP (preferred)

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• More than 1 year of experience in Supply Chain and/or Supply Chain Management.
• More than 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in Customer Service.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Requires U.S. Citizenship.
• An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.
• U.S. Person required.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• Experience in contracts and proposals.
• Experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations.
• Experience negotiating price and schedule with suppliers and customers.
• Experience using SAP software.

Experience Levels

• Entry Level 1: Typically related work experience or relevant military experience.
• Associate Level 2: Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience.

Other Details

• Travel expected to be less than 10%.
• This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
