Graphic Design Intern

About the Role

Tampa Bay Sun FC is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to assist in producing visual content across digital, print, social media, and matchday platforms. This position provides hands-on experience in a professional sports environment.

• Location: In-person, Tampa, Florida
• Duration: Fall semester with opportunity to extend to spring
• Compensation: Unpaid, college credit eligibility required. A stipend will be provided for hours worked beyond required academic credit hours.
• Portfolio Requirement: A link to your creative portfolio or sample work is mandatory for consideration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design graphics for social media, marketing campaigns, print, videoboard, merchandise, etc.
• Assist with Matchday and event creative needs.
• Maintain brand consistency across all visual materials.
• Organize and manage creative assets, including photo, video, and design files.
• Collaborate with various departments to fulfill creative requests.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, or other creative software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and branding.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to receive and implement creative feedback in a collaborative environment.
