About the Role
The Pharmacy Technician at Corewell Health's Dearborn Inpatient Pharmacy provides medication reliably and safely for patients, acting as a resource for medication information. The role involves functions related to the preparation, storage, distribution, and dispensing of prescriptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Under the direction and supervision of a Pharmacist, perform a variety of functions related to preparation, storage, distribution, and dispensing of prescriptions.
- Rotate through IV admixture and unit dose service.
- May rotate to OR Pharmacy Services and Outpatient Pharmacy Services.
- Perform data entry and other record keeping functions as necessary for department operations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High school diploma program or GED.
- Experience with sterile compounding and/or 6 months technician experience and/or graduate of an ASHP accredited technician training program.
Qualifications
- Required:
- A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a general high school diploma program or GED.
- Experience with sterile compounding and/or 6 months technician experience and/or graduate of an ASHP accredited technician training program.
- Preferred:
- LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI (State of Michigan) Upon Hire
- LIC-Pharmacist Intern - STATE_MI (State of Michigan) Upon Hire
