About the Role
Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, etc. to meet quality standards.
- Cleans bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors.
- Empties carts of soiled linen and disposes trash.
- Maintains efficient communication on two-way radio to ensure that tasks are prioritized.
- Maintains lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area to assure they are clean, neat and free of all rubbish and debris.
- Cleans and maintains public restrooms in a neat and orderly fashion to provide fresh and attractive facilities for guests.
- Restrooms must also be checked on once an hour to assure they remain neat and clean.
- Removes spots, insects and debris, polishes fixtures and cleans ashtrays.
- Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed.
- Performs various other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Two-way radio
Qualifications
- Minimum of High School education.
- Minimum of one (1) year in Housekeeping role.
- Outgoing personality.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
- Team player.
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests.
- Customer service focus.
