About the Role
The Experience Senior Living Team is hiring an Environmental Services Associate - Housekeeper for its newest community, The Gallery at Fort Collins, opening in March 2026. This is a Full-Time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleans public areas and resident's apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
- Performs all housekeeping duties:
- Distributes laundered articles and linens.
- Replaces and hangs draperies.
- Changes beds.
- Cleans public restrooms and replenishes supplies.
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Polishes metalwork.
- Washes walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Performs all laundry duties:
- Washes, dries, and irons resident laundry and community linens and textiles in provided appliances.
- Folds and/or hangs laundry appropriately.
- Distributes laundered articles and linens.
- Replaces and hangs draperies and changes beds.
- Maintains resident laundry areas, including mopping floors and washing walls regularly.
- Washes windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested.
- Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
- Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies.
- Stocks cleaning cart with supplies.
- Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Ensures with maintenance that trash and dumpster areas are clean.
- Completes maintenance work orders for any maintenance repairs needed.
- Reports resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.
- Reports potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance-related issues promptly to Supervisor.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Connects and helps residents transition from home to community through thoughtful engagement at every level of interaction.
- Arrives to work on time.
- Minimal absence and tardiness.
- Appearance is neat, clean, and according to dress code.
- Observes safety and security procedures.
- Uses equipment and materials properly.
- Ability to work varied schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Compensation
- $17-$18.00/hour
