Software Technical Expert, Java

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Technical Expert – Java to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. This is a hands-on individual contributor role where the candidate is expected to actively participate in coding, architecture discussions, technical design, and mentoring while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and software design.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering Managers, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Drive architectural decisions and establish development standards across projects.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Participate actively in coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Plan deliveries, define milestones, and ensure timely execution of project commitments.
• Identify project risks proactively and drive mitigation strategies.
• Ensure high application availability, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Work with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Contribute to platform modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.
• Promote engineering best practices, including design patterns, automated testing, and secure coding practices.
