Dining Room Assistant

About the Role

Bass Pro Shops is opening a brand-new restaurant and is hiring staff who love great food, good company, and making every guest feel welcome.

Position Summary

The Dining Room Assistant assists operations in expediting service to the guest, serving food from the kitchen in a timely manner, cleaning and resetting tables, and stocking stations.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleans and sets tables properly.
• Replenishes all non-alcoholic beverages when needed.
• Maintains ice supply in server stations and bar.
• Stocks side stations with clean and polished wrapped silverware, napkins, straws, etc.
• Ensures furniture and floors are clean and arranged according to specifications.
• Removes plates and silverware from tables during the meal; transports to the dish area.
• Assists coworkers and guests during the meal period.
• Assists in the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, including front of house and back of house.
• Runs food from the kitchen.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Physical Requirements: Regular walking, standing, lifting (up to 50lbs), climbing, bending etc.
• Independent Judgment: Performs tasks under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Starting Pay Rate

$15.92 - $20.75
