About the Role
The OTA Revenue Manager Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting online travel agency (OTA) revenue activities for hotel and resort clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring OTA performance.
- Assisting with rate and inventory updates.
- Helping analyze booking trends across multiple distribution channels.
- Compiling data to support revenue management decisions.
- Preparing reports to support revenue management decisions.
- Identifying opportunities to optimize pricing and visibility.
- Coordinating with internal teams.
- Maintaining accurate records in revenue and accounting systems.
- Learning best practices in hospitality revenue strategy.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Excel or similar data tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support revenue decisions.
- Foundational knowledge of revenue management and revenue recognition principles.
- Basic understanding of finance concepts relevant to pricing, profitability, and budgeting.
- Introductory accounting skills, including comfort with spreadsheets and financial records.
- Interest in hospitality and OTA distribution, with a willingness to learn industry tools.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
