About the Role
- Ship production code from your first week, focusing on real systems rather than toy features.
- Receive mentorship from senior engineers.
- Work directly with the co-founders, CTO Huy Huynh, CEO Matthew Levin, and another senior engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and ship features end-to-end with AI agents.
- Contribute to the full-stack, including backend, frontend, infrastructure, and deployment.
- Write production-grade code with tests.
- Handle edge cases.
- Own shipped features.
- Pair with senior engineers and founders to learn by doing.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- You have built and shipped something real (e.g., a side project, an open-source tool).
- Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, systems design, and the ability to reason about how things work.
- You use AI tools to write code and are intentional about your workflow.
- Effective cross-disciplinary communicator.
- Tech stack includes: Ruby on Rails 8.1, Hotwire (Turbo + Stimulus), Postgres, and AWS. Experience with Rails is not required.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with any OOP language (nice to have).
- Open-source contributions or publicly visible work (nice to have).
Compensation & Benefits
- $80k-110k/yr base salary + equity.
