About the Role
WinCap Support Analyst - School Accounting & Financial Software with Harris School Solutions. This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a frontline, primary support contact for WinCap clients by responding to support tickets and phone inquiries.
- Troubleshoot questions across the financial system, including Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting and General Ledger.
- Handle escalated issues directly with customers.
- Lead client training through webinars and user group sessions.
- Spot bugs and enhancement ideas, then document them clearly for the development team.
- Escalate issues with the necessary details for quick resolution.
- Build and improve user guides, support documentation, and internal processes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business, or equivalent work experience.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and day-to-day bookkeeping.
- Hands-on experience with: purchasing, AP, AR, budgeting and general ledger.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Sharp analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- The ability to stay calm and organized when several priorities compete.
- A positive, professional, and solutions-focused approach.
Bonus points if you have:
- Knowledge of fund accounting, governmental accounting or public-sector budgeting.
- Experience supporting accounting, ERP or financial software.
- Familiarity with public-sector purchasing rules or NYS school financial reporting.
- Business office experience in a New York State school district or BOCES (strongly preferred).
