About the Role

• This role focuses on software development and energy systems.
• You will contribute to developing and porting code for a next-generation controller platform.
• You will report to the Software Development Manager responsible for this project.
• This is a six-month co-op assignment within a functional area of the company.
• This is a Spring internship based in Rochester, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with a team developing the next-generation platform for RF and DC power generators.
• Port application code from an older platform to a newer platform using C++.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• C++
• VHDL
• MATLAB
• Python

Qualifications

• Current third- or fourth-year engineering student.
• Familiarity with C++ programming.
• Familiarity with VHDL.
• Familiarity with MATLAB.
• Familiarity with Python.
