Job Overview

As a Retail Selling Colleague, you blend selling that delivers results with genuine hospitality to create standout shopping experiences. You take the time to understand each customer’s needs, offering personalized recommendations and connecting them with the right products and services. You stay focused on achieving selling goals by driving performance through customer engagement and smart selling behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet teammates with a warm hello and help ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers.
• Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay up-to-date on current trends and promotions.
• Offer a warm welcome to customers on the floor, make eye contact, and create friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships.
• Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
• Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have all they need, and end with a sincere thank-you.
• Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration.
• Strive to improve every day, take pride in your work, achieve sales goals, and learn from each other.
• Help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
• Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
• Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
• Resourceful and eager to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within team dynamics.
• Proficiency with electronic devices with no problem.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment, and cash register operation.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
• Standing for at least two consecutive hours.
• Lifting at least 25lbs.
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Reaching, including above eye level.
• Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Qualifications

• Full-time position, typically scheduled 30 or more hours per week.
• All schedules contain weekend shifts.
• Prior retail experience is beneficial but not explicitly required.
