About the Role
TouchPoint Support Services is hiring immediately for a full-time HOUSEKEEPER position at Ascension Living Carroll Manor in Washington, DC.
- Address: 1150 Varnum Street Northeast, Washington, DC 20017
- Schedule: Full-time; Days may vary. Shifts are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
- Pay Rate: $18.40 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments in a clean and orderly manner.
- Provides quality customer service with one-on-one attention to detail.
- Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
- Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
- Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
- Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
- Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
- Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Wipes down glass surfaces.
- Makes up beds and changes linens.
- Realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
- Responds to guest queries and requests.
- Responds to calls for housekeeping problems (e.g., spills, broken glasses).
- Contributes to team efforts and exhibits professionalism.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Prior housekeeping experience is required.
