Position Overview
Future Interns is seeking a UI/UX Design Intern to assist with interface and user-experience assignments. This opportunity is intended for students and recent graduates interested in digital product design. The intern will support research, wireframing, interface design, prototyping, and design documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic user research and competitor reviews.
- Organize research observations and identify usability considerations.
- Create user flows and wireframes for assigned interfaces.
- Develop interface designs for web or mobile experiences.
- Build prototypes to communicate interactions and screen flows.
- Apply appropriate layout, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Maintain consistency across related screens and components.
- Incorporate feedback from design reviews.
- Prepare design files and supporting documentation for development handoff.
- Communicate design decisions and open questions clearly.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Interest in digital products and user experience.
- Ability to communicate design ideas clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools (Preferred).
- Understanding of responsive design (Preferred).
- Basic knowledge of accessibility considerations (Preferred).
- Academic or personal UI/UX projects (Preferred).
