Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid Freelance role based in New Delhi, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves supporting research and advocacy activities related to Palestinian education, including gathering and organizing information from academic, human rights, and policy sources.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting and editing written materials
• Preparing briefs and summaries
• Assisting with digital content for awareness campaigns
• Coordinating communication with partners and collaborators
• Developing educational resources
• Maintaining documentation
• Contributing to outreach activities and events

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Structured research
• Synthesizing complex information
• Clear summaries and briefs
• Strong writing and editing skills for academic, advocacy, or public-facing content, with attention to accuracy and tone
• Comfort with digital tools for communication, document sharing, and basic content creation (e.g., word processing, online collaboration platforms, social media or website content management)
• Excellent organizational skills, including task prioritization, time management, and maintaining reliable documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, international network while respecting different perspectives and lived experiences
• Proficiency in English
• Prior experience in research assistance, advocacy support, or educational projects is beneficial

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in education, human rights, social justice, or related fields, especially in relation to Palestine or the wider region
• Additional language skills relevant to the region are an asset
• Motivated emerging professionals and students are encouraged to apply
