Scientific Laboratory Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for experienced scientists, researchers, engineers, laboratory professionals, and technical experts who can bring practical laboratory knowledge into customer projects.

What You’ll Do

• Understand customer research objectives, workflows, and laboratory requirements
• Recommend suitable laboratory equipment, instrumentation, utilities, and infrastructure
• Advise on environmental requirements including temperature, humidity, vibration, cleanliness, acoustics, electromagnetic shielding, and other controlled conditions
• Guide laboratory safety requirements for lasers, gases, chemicals, cryogens, high voltage, vacuum, and electrical systems
• Review and contribute to laboratory layouts, equipment placement, utilities, and technical specifications
• Support equipment selection, technical evaluation, and vendor discussions
• Work closely with our design, engineering, procurement, and project teams
• Participate in technical discussions with customers and help translate research requirements into practical laboratory solutions
• Provide technical inputs during installation, commissioning, and validation when required

Qualifications

• Degree in Physics, Engineering, Materials Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field
• M.Sc./M.Tech./PhD preferred
