About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Buyer role based in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities.
• Raise purchase orders.
• Track deliveries.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Evaluate supplier quotations.
• Negotiate prices and terms.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to support production and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams (planning, production, quality, and finance) to resolve supply issues and optimize inventory levels.
• Support supplier performance reviews.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives.
• Support adherence to Amphenol FCi’s quality, compliance, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in purchasing or supply chain operations within manufacturing or electronics components environments.
• Strong skills in vendor management, including sourcing, negotiation, and relationship-building with suppliers.
• Ability to analyze demand, lead times, and inventory data to make sound buying decisions and avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
• Proficiency with ERP or MRP systems and standard office productivity tools for managing purchase orders and reports.
• Solid understanding of basic commercial terms, contracts, and cost structures relevant to procurement.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., in supply management or logistics) are an advantage.
