Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain SolarWinds platform components (NPM, NCM, NTA, SAM, IPAM).
- Monitor network and infrastructure performance to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve network monitoring alerts and incidents.
- Configure dashboards, reports, thresholds, and alerting mechanisms for proactive monitoring.
- Perform tool upgrades, patching, backup, and health checks of monitoring platforms.
- Coordinate with Network, Security, Server, and Application teams for issue resolution.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Prepare operational reports, RCA documentation, and capacity planning recommendations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience in Network Monitoring, Infrastructure Monitoring, or Tool Administration.
- Hands-on experience with SolarWinds administration and configuration.
- Strong understanding of SNMP, NetFlow/IPFIX, Syslog, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routing Switching.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and performance analysis.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, LogicMonitor, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Good understanding of network devices including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Wireless Controllers.
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell/Python) is an added advantage.
