SAP Austria PY Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the technical and functional vision that defines the project solution and translate this vision into directives, standards, and procedures for gradual implementation.
• Ensure the technical and functional success of implementations and/or improvement projects, especially in complex and large-scale projects.
• Participate in requirement gathering, analysis, design, implementation, application, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
• Adapt and prepare the technical environment, advising on the most appropriate products based on customer requirements.
• Solve complex problems related to the application's technical environment.
• Share and extrapolate knowledge between different clients/work teams to optimize service delivery.
• Collaborate and provide suggestions for service improvement at the specific customer level and on the euHReka platform.
• Supervise, manage, and improve input from other team members.
• Develop organic documents for complex applications from the functional team.
• Supervise the definition of necessary data structures based on the data model and application flow diagrams, ensuring they meet customer requirements.
• Perform integrated testing of complex applications.
• Provide necessary technical support to other members of the development team.
• Identify new business areas in existing customers.
• Contribute to knowledge reuse.
• Apply methodological approaches to problem-solving and project management.
• Encourage and lead the technical education of development team members.
• Hold certifications in products/relevant technologies for the role.
• Offer solutions that optimize and improve performance and quality of services.
• Disseminate knowledge as an expert explicitly or implicitly.
• Promote system adaptation to changing business needs and technology.
• Advise on pre-sale actions.
• Act as a technical reference, performing coaching and mentoring tasks.
• Manage the work pool, optimizing service delivery.
• Provide suggestions to increase productivity and service quality at a technical level.
• Anticipate project/support level problems and proactively search for alternative solutions.
• Ensure profitability of assigned tasks through precise monitoring.
