Research Analyst

About the Role

• This position is an in-office role based out of our Sacramento, CA Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and write industry, specialty and quarterly reports using industry experience to synthesize insightful analysis.
• Track market activity using internal and external resources, providing company and industry research using online and in-house resources.
• Assist advisors by providing research representation and expertise in client meetings.
• Train advisors and staff in use of research applications such as Costar, Real Capital Analytics, and proprietary database tools.
• Provide database management, including verification and updates on inventory, availability and comparables.
• Perform ad hoc queries, including property and deal analysis.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• 0-1+ years of experience in commercial real estate, market analysis or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field).
• Ability to calculate and analyze key metrics and indicators (vacancy, absorption, inventory, deliveries, cap rates, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and database software.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using a research database (Costar, LoopNet).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Approximate Compensation for this Role: $29.71 per hour
