About the Role

WayOne Academy, a unit of Way One IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd., offers career-focused learning opportunities in Data Analytics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Marketing, and Software Development. We are also associated with IIT Madras Pravartak programmes in Data Science and Machine Learning. We are looking for an enthusiastic, target-oriented Educational Counselor to guide students and working professionals in selecting suitable programmes and completing the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students, graduates, and working professionals on courses and career opportunities.
• Explain programme structures, eligibility, duration, fees, and admission procedures.
• Guide prospective learners interested in Data Science and Machine Learning programmes associated with IIT Madras Pravartak.
• Handle enquiries from phone calls, WhatsApp, social media, digital campaigns, and walk-ins.
• Follow up with leads and convert qualified enquiries into admissions.
• Understand students’ educational backgrounds and career goals to recommend suitable courses.
• Maintain lead records, counselling notes, and follow-up schedules using CRM tools or spreadsheets.
• Coordinate with the marketing and academic teams to improve admissions.
• Work towards monthly counselling and admission targets while maintaining transparent, student-focused guidance.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English.
• Strong counselling, persuasion, negotiation, and follow-up abilities.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Sheets, and CRM tools.
• Interest in education, technology, Data Science, AI, and Machine Learning.

Experience in educational counselling, EdTech, admissions, inside sales, or student relationship management is preferred. Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: ₹30,000–₹40,000
