Human Resources Generalist I
About the Role
Insight Global is seeking an HR Generalist I to support a large manufacturing organization in McMinnville, Oregon. This position provides hands-on HR support throughout the employee lifecycle, partnering with employees and leaders.
- Location: McMinnville, OR
- Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Thursday, 4x10-hour shifts
- Compensation: $70,000-$102,000 + 10% annual bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate pre-onboarding and onboarding activities
- Support compliance with EEO and applicable employment regulations
- Assist with job descriptions, job evaluations, compensation analysis, and benefits reviews
- Support performance reviews, talent assessments, and succession planning
- Coordinate employee engagement surveys and related action plans
- Partner with managers on employee relations matters
- Assist with employee concern investigations and documentation
- Deliver training on HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Use HR reporting and analytics to identify workforce trends
- Support labor relations activities when applicable
- Coordinate benefits enrollment, recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous HR experience through internships, co-ops, or entry-level HR positions
- General understanding of HR practices, employment practices, and talent management processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience through work, academics, or extracurricular activities
- Experience supporting a manufacturing environment
- Exposure to unionized workforces
