Ocean Freight Specialist, Exports

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate ocean export shipment allocations.
• Prepare export and customs documentation.
• Maintain accurate reporting.
• Manage end-to-end shipment tracking and tracing.
• Oversee third-party logistics providers.
• Monitor and drive supplier performance.
• Support contract administration.
• Manage transportation-related financials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Business Management, or related field.
• 0-2 years of professional experience in ocean freight, exports, and/or logistics operations.
• 0-2 years of experience supporting/managing projects and/or process improvement initiatives.
• Less than 1 year of leadership experience.
• Exposure to Power BI and SAP.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
