Overview

Under the direction of the Department Manager, responsible for reviewing and entering underwriting data into insurance company websites, data entry into agency management systems, and preparing proposals in accordance with company practices, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-underwriting information gathering and proposal presentations.
• Gather data online for insurance submissions.
• Provide online portal quoting support.
• Set up new client shells, policy shells, and enter all policy data into the agency management system.
• Compile and scan new business marketing files into the agency management system.
• Invoice new business in the agency management system, if applicable.
• Mail Lost Policy Release forms with a client-specific cover letter.
• Finalize new business/rewrite proposal procedures.
• Apply new business deposit payments.
• Conducts business in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of both the business and earnings implications of the Company.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager/Team Leader.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with personal lines insurance.
• Thorough knowledge of personal lines coverages and markets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to pay attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Hybrid work schedule.

Compensation & Benefits

Expected salary range: $20.44/hr to $39.15/hr.
