About the Role

The Part Time Social Media Marketing Intern will support Sea Love Del Mar's marketing efforts by creating and publishing engaging content across social media platforms and assisting with digital campaigns. This internship role is on-site in Del Mar, CA, and involves capturing content from scent blending and boutique experiences, writing posts and captions, and helping maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style. This role offers hands-on experience in social media and marketing within a creative, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and publishing engaging content across social media platforms.
• Capturing content from scent blending and boutique experiences.
• Writing posts and captions.
• Helping maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style.
• Scheduling posts.
• Monitoring and responding to comments and messages.
• Tracking basic performance metrics.
• Sharing insights on audience engagement.
• Collaborating with the local team to promote events, new products, and seasonal campaigns.
• Assisting with light in-store marketing tasks such as signage or photography.

Qualifications

• Skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing to support campaigns and platform growth.
• Skills in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing to develop engaging, on-brand posts and visuals.
• Strong Communication skills to interact with customers, teammates, and online audiences clearly and professionally.
• Interest in lifestyle, wellness, or experiential retail, with creativity in storytelling and visual content.
• Ability to work on-site in Del Mar, CA, with a flexible part-time schedule, including some evenings or weekends as needed.
• Basic familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest) and content editing tools is preferred.
• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is a plus.
