Corporate Recruiter

About the Role

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to manage its Trainee Program and Supply Chain Internship. This role will also support the HR team with general recruiting and onboarding, working closely with stores to build relationships with technical colleges, attend career fairs, and assist in filling difficult roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Programs: Oversee the Trainee Program and Supply Chain Internship, monitoring progress and serving as the main point of contact for trainees and interns.
• Build School Relationships: Collaborate with store managers to establish strong connections with local trade schools, technical colleges, and universities.
• Attend Career Fairs: Plan and participate in campus career fairs and hiring events to source new trainees and interns.
• Support Recruiting & Onboarding: Assist the HR department with daily recruiting tasks, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
• Fill Difficult Roles: Partner with various company departments to identify and recruit candidates for challenging-to-fill positions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with store managers, school staff, and candidates.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, from structured student programs to immediate hiring needs.
• Willingness to travel to career fairs and school events as required.
