About the Role
The Dearborn Inpatient Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician. This role operates under the direction and supervision of a Pharmacist, performing functions related to medication preparation, storage, distribution, and dispensing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of functions related to preparation, storage, distribution, and dispensing of prescriptions.
- Rotate through IV admixture and unit dose service.
- Rotation to OR Pharmacy Services and Outpatient Pharmacy Services may be required.
- Perform data entry and other record-keeping functions.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High school diploma program or GED.
- Experience with sterile compounding.
- OR 6 months technician experience.
- OR graduate of an ASHP accredited technician training program.
Qualifications
- Required: A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a general high school diploma program or GED.
- Required: Experience with sterile compounding AND/OR 6 months technician experience AND/OR graduate of an ASHP accredited technician training program.
- Preferred: LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI (State of Michigan) Upon Hire.
- Preferred: LIC-Pharmacist Intern - STATE_MI (State of Michigan) Upon Hire.
