Site Supervisor for Commercial Interiors

About the Role

The Site Supervisor for Commercial Interiors will oversee day-to-day site activities for interior projects, ensuring work is executed according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers, designers, contractors, and vendors.
• Supervise site teams across trades such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and civil work.
• Monitor progress against project timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections.
• Manage material deliveries.
• Resolve on-site issues.
• Maintain clear documentation and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory norms.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience in supervising commercial interior projects, including offices, retail stores, hospitality, and other corporate spaces.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out processes, including carpentry, gypsum and partition work, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and basic civil work.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Proficient in site coordination, vendor and contractor management, and daily work scheduling.
• Understanding of quality control standards, safety practices, and compliance with local building regulations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience using basic project documentation tools (site reports, checklists, progress trackers).
• Familiarity with MS Office is preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai and manage multiple projects or sites as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant work experience in commercial interiors is essential.
