Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

This is a remote internship role for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The intern will support the QA team in planning and executing manual tests for AI, robotics, and automation software components, following defined test plans and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the QA team in planning and executing manual tests for AI, robotics, and automation software components.
• Create and update test cases.
• Perform test execution.
• Document defects.
• Assist in regression and functional testing across hardware-software integrations.
• Collaborate with developers and researchers to clarify requirements and reproduce issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of product quality and reliability.
• Maintain test documentation.
• Participate in reviews to ensure consistency, usability, and compliance with internal QA processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Software Testing and Quality Assurance skills.
• Clear understanding of QA principles and methodologies.
• Practical skills in Manual Testing and Test Execution.
• Ability to follow test plans and accurately report results.
• Ability to design, document, and maintain Test Cases aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and a structured approach to identifying defects.
• Basic knowledge of software development lifecycles.
• Familiarity with issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub Issues, or similar).
• Relevant coursework or experience in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
• Familiarity with AI, robotics, or embedded systems is an advantage.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Readiness to learn in a fast-paced R&D environment.
