About the Role

The Colour Grader will be responsible for enhancing and refining the visual tone of video and film projects, ensuring consistent and high-quality color across all deliverables. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Importing and organizing footage.
• Applying color correction and grading.
• Matching shots across scenes.
• Collaborating closely with directors, cinematographers, and editors to achieve the desired look and mood.
• Preparing final graded masters.
• Maintaining color workflows.
• Keeping projects aligned with brand and creative guidelines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in color grading software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of color theory, LUTs, and scopes (waveform, vectorscope, histogram).
• Skills in video post-production workflows, including file management, codec and format handling, and collaboration with editors and VFX artists.
• Skills in visual storytelling, with the ability to interpret creative briefs, maintain continuity of mood and style, and align the grade with the director’s and client’s vision.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong aesthetic judgment.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while managing multiple projects.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to give and receive feedback and collaborate in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Qualifications

• A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in color grading or post-production, is preferred.
• Prior experience in advertising, fashion, wedding, or entertainment content is an advantage.
• Familiarity with high-end cameras and color workflows (log, RAW, HDR) is an advantage.
