About the Role
The Trust and Safety (TnS) engineering team at TikTok is responsible for protecting users from harmful content and abusive behaviors. This team builds content moderation process systems, rule engines, strategy systems, feature engines, moderation platforms, data platforms, and risk insight systems to ensure the best user experience and bring joy to everyone. Successful candidates must be able to commit to an onboarding date by the end of the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the overall architecture design and implementation of the data application platforms of the TnS organization.
- Formulate data application architecture specifications and lead the team in their implementation.
- Optimize the data application architecture to continuously improve system stability and efficiency.
- Reduce the complexity and cost of storage, calculation, and service architecture.
- Design and implement systematic support for data integration, offline development, real-time development, data governance, and BI analysis.
- Establish strong technical influence both internally and externally, cultivate talent, and effectively coach the team to improve R&D capabilities.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience with software development in at least one of the following programming languages: C++, Python, Java.
- Proficiency in server-side technology stack in distributed/high concurrency scenarios, including rpc, message queue, link tracking, and service governance.
- Experience with big data systems and related technologies such as Spark, Flink, ClickHouse, HBase.
- Experience with data insight and related technologies such as machine learning, statistical analysis (preferred).
Qualifications
- Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's or above degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Great communication and teamwork skills.
