About the Role
- Seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a permanent, full-time, fully remote position.
- Focus on building tools and frameworks to support testing and release of an enterprise product.
- Develop automated tests to verify the orchestration and configuration of production environments.
- Working understanding of AWS cloud services is valuable.
- Experience in Python, front-end testing tools, CI/CD pipelines, and relational database management systems is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the engineering team to build tools for testing and releasing the enterprise product.
- Develop automated tests to verify the orchestration and configuration of production environments.
- Use front-end testing tools such as Cypress to support automated testing.
- Contribute to testing and release workflows using CI/CD tools.
- Apply Python programming skills to test automation and engineering tasks.
- Support testing activities involving AWS cloud environments.
- Work with relational database management systems (RDBMS) as part of testing and quality assurance.
- Contribute to the development of custom testing and release frameworks.

Qualifications
- At least one year of experience using front-end testing tools such as Cypress.
- At least two years of Python experience.
- At least two years of experience working with CI/CD tools.
- At least one year of experience with AWS cloud services.
- At least one year of experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.
- Coding experience in Python, C++, or React.
- Familiarity with cloud development and deployment tools and technologies, including AWS CLI, Boto3, and Docker.
- Familiarity with serverless frameworks and services such as AWS Lambda.
- Good knowledge of networking, security, DNS, and Unix/Linux operations and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security architectures and infrastructure.
- Experience with Golang.
- Demonstrated experience building custom test and release frameworks.
Compensation and Employment Details
- Salary: $120,000–$140,000+.
- Employment type: Permanent, full-time.
- Work arrangement: 100% remote.
- Employee Referral Bonus: $1,000 for successful referrals.
