About the Role
Painting Drive is seeking an Interior Designer to work on-site in Mumbai in a full-time capacity. The role involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to plan and execute interior design projects, with a focus on aligning with Painting Drive’s painting and polishing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet clients to understand requirements.
- Develop design concepts.
- Prepare layout plans.
- Select finishes, furnishings, and color schemes.
- Coordinate with painters, carpenters, and vendors.
- Review construction drawings.
- Ensure designs are implemented accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Visit project sites regularly to oversee work quality.
- Resolve design challenges.
- Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Interior Design and Space Planning.
- Skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings.
- Skills in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools).
Qualifications
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong visual, creative, and conceptual design abilities with attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with residential or commercial interiors and familiarity with painting and finishing materials is an advantage.
