About the Role
Tvisha Patel Design Studio is a growing interior design practice based in Ahmedabad, focused on creating functional, thoughtfully planned, and aesthetically refined spaces. The studio works across residential and commercial projects, balancing creativity with practical design solutions tailored to each client’s needs. Team members collaborate closely throughout the design and execution process, from concept development to final installation. This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Ahmedabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts.
- Prepare layouts.
- Support space planning for residential and commercial projects.
- Create and revise drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors.
- Assist in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, and materials.
- Prepare construction drawings and documentation.
- Conduct site visits to track progress and quality.
- Align designs with client requirements and project budgets.
- Participate in client presentations.
- Collaborate with the design team.
- Contribute to maintaining project timelines and standards.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
Qualifications
- Ability to plan and organize interior layouts, with strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design.
- Understanding of Architecture principles and coordination with structural and MEP teams.
- Proficiency in preparing accurate Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience with FF&E selection, including sourcing furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to translate concepts into practical design solutions.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, and site teams.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Prior studio or site experience in interior projects in Ahmedabad or similar markets is an advantage.
