About the Role

Skillzenloop is looking for a motivated Machine Learning Intern interested in artificial intelligence, predictive modelling, and data-driven problem-solving. The selected candidate will assist in preparing datasets, experimenting with machine learning algorithms, evaluating model performance, and supporting the development of intelligent solutions while gaining practical experience in machine learning workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, cleaning, and preprocessing datasets for machine learning tasks.
• Explore datasets to identify patterns, relationships, and relevant features.
• Implement basic machine learning algorithms using Python.
• Work with libraries such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy.
• Assist in developing classification, regression, and clustering models.
• Support feature selection and feature engineering activities.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics.
• Conduct experiments to compare different algorithms and modelling approaches.
• Assist in identifying overfitting, underfitting, and model performance issues.
• Create visualizations to communicate experimental results.
• Document model development processes, experiments, and findings.
• Research machine learning techniques and contribute to project improvements.
• Collaborate with team members to understand project objectives and technical requirements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of Python programming.
• Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts.
• Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn is preferred.
• Basic understanding of statistics and probability.
• Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning concepts is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook or Google Colab is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of data preprocessing and visualization.
• Understanding of model evaluation metrics is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn new algorithms, tools, and techniques.

Qualifications

• Candidates pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field may apply.
• Freshers and entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Candidates with academic projects or personal machine learning experiments are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants should have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.

Internship Details

• Duration: 1–3 Months
• Stipend: ₹15,000–₹16,000 per month
