Application Engineer, Temperature Control

About the Role

As an Application Engineer – Temperature Control based in Pune, you will be responsible for the engineering and design of technical solutions for Temperature Control (TC) applications, utilizing the TC fleet and equipment. You will develop TC technical solutions during the business development and sales order process, working closely with BD/Sales teams across various industry sectors. You will also support the sales team in resolving customer queries both remotely and face-to-face.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend technical sales meetings, site surveys, and conduct presentations to potential customers on TC application solutions.
• Prepare Technical Proposals containing concept notes, PDP, BOQ, and drawings for complex TC jobs.
• Provide technical training and workshops to the sales team on fleets, equipment, and their various application methods and principles.
• Analyze field performance of products, including performance testing of equipment, project design validation, and participation in the development of software selection programs.
• Provide advisory assistance on major service breakdowns of Chillers, Cooling Towers, PHEs, ACs, AHU’s, BAC’s, etc.
• Propose product enhancements and add value-added products/ancillaries to the fleet based on emerging HVAC trends in the market.
• Release Technical Proposals for sales opportunities and issue detailed dispatch BOQs for execution.
• Release application notes/case studies with the help of the marketing team.
• Ensure areas/depots have the appropriate fleet mix, configuration, and necessary ancillary equipment to meet supply and demand.
• Ensure an adequate skill level of TC technicians & engineers and their capability enhancement.
• Propose ancillaries purchase for new fleet or equipment to ensure business growth support and fleet standardization.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excellent technical and operational knowledge of HVAC/ Cooling Systems.
• In-depth understanding of Chillers, Cooling Towers, Air Conditioners, Air Handling Units, Heat Exchangers, Chilled Water Pumps, etc.
