About the Role

EdifyChamps is looking for passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Mentors who enjoy teaching, simplifying complex concepts, and helping students develop strong programming and computational thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging, interactive, one-on-one online Computer Science classes.
• Teach programming and computer science concepts based on students’ grade levels and learning requirements.
• Prepare and deliver a 15–20 minute teaching demonstration during the interview.
• Explain advanced concepts in a simple, structured, and student-friendly manner.
• Use relevant teaching resources, tools, and study materials to enhance the learning experience.
• Track student progress and provide guidance to improve their understanding and performance.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals and programming concepts.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of coding platforms and tools such as Scratch is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Access to a laptop/desktop, a stable internet connection, and the necessary teaching resources.
• Prior teaching or mentoring experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation Structure

• ₹350 per one-hour one-on-one class, with no TDS or other deductions.
• ₹100 per demo class conducted.
• An additional ₹250 is payable if the demo class converts into a paid enrollment.
