Role Description

Full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru.

The Daycare Teacher will oversee the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities include planning and conducting age-appropriate activities, supporting early childhood development milestones, and assisting with basic routines such as meals, rest, and hygiene. The role involves maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment, communicating regularly with parents and guardians, and collaborating with other staff to implement the center’s curriculum and policies. The Daycare Teacher will also observe and document children’s progress and behavior and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily care and supervision of children.
• Ensure children's safety, comfort, and well-being.
• Plan and conduct age-appropriate activities.
• Support early childhood development milestones.
• Assist with basic routines (meals, rest, hygiene).
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with staff to implement curriculum and policies.
• Observe and document children's progress and behavior.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Day Care and Childcare.
• Understanding of Early Childhood Development and ability to support developmental milestones.
• Effective Communication skills for interaction with children, families, and colleagues.
• Experience or training in Curriculum Development for early learning environments.
• Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with young children.
• Ability to follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols and center policies.

Preferred:

• Relevant certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Childcare, or a related field.
• Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is an advantage.
