About the Role

Saatvik Agro is seeking an Associate Backend Developer Java for a full-time, on-site opportunity in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career technology professionals interested in Java backend development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Java-based backend applications, services, APIs, databases, internal platforms, enterprise systems, automation solutions, and digital tools.
• Collaborate with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, production, supply chain, finance, sales, and other business teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Core Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, collections, exception handling, interfaces, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, multithreading, concurrency, and clean coding practices.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, and authorization.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Willingness to learn new Java technologies, backend frameworks, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, testing tools, and modern software engineering practices.
• Willingness to work in an on-site environment.

Familiarity or exposure to the following technologies and concepts will be beneficial but is not mandatory:

• Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, or similar Java backend frameworks.
• API integration, system integration.
• Microservices architecture, distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, scalable backend applications, or event-driven systems.
• Maven, Gradle, Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, debugging, code reviews, and collaborative software development workflows.
• JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, Postman, unit testing, integration testing, API testing, or automated testing.
• Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, caching, message queues, asynchronous processing, scheduled jobs, background processing, or event-driven architecture.
• AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, or similar cloud and DevOps technologies.
• Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, environment configuration, logging, monitoring, and production support concepts.
• OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, secure coding, input validation, API security, encryption.
• Application performance optimization, database tuning, connection pooling, caching, scalability, reliability, observability, and troubleshooting.
• ORM technologies, repositories, persistence layers, entity relationships, transactions, and backend data-access patterns.
• Frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Automation, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, generative AI, ERP, CRM, dashboards, reporting systems, or enterprise applications.
• Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, user stories, sprint planning, or issue tracking.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Final-year students completing their degree and available for full-time employment may also apply.
• Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in Java backend development, backend software development, software engineering, application development, API development, enterprise software, or related technology roles can apply.
• Internship, academic project, Java project, Spring Boot project, backend project, API project, database project, microservices project, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory.
• Candidates without previous full-time Java backend development experience can apply.
