junior Architect, draughtsman

About the Role

Arun Wadhwa Architects is seeking a full-time, on-site junior Architect / Draughtsman to be based in Navi Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in architectural design.
• Preparing detailed drawings and CAD plans.
• Supporting the development of presentation drawings and 3D views.
• Translating design concepts into working drawings.
• Updating project documentation.
• Coordinating with senior team members.
• Ensuring accuracy in layouts, sections, and elevations.
• Preparing material specifications.
• Performing basic quantity checks.
• Maintaining organized project files.
• Adhering to timelines and quality standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in architectural drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
• Familiarity with 3D visualization tools (e.g., SketchUp, Lumion) is beneficial.
• Basic Software Development and Integration awareness as it relates to architectural tools and workflows.

Qualifications

• Foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including an understanding of spatial planning and building systems.
• Project Management-related skills, such as time management, task coordination, and the ability to follow structured processes and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior architects and project teams.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Basic knowledge of building regulations, materials, and construction practices is an advantage.
