About the Role
Regeneron is seeking multiple 2027 Co-ops in Laboratory Automation & Robotics Engineering to join the Preclinical Manufacturing and Process Development (PMPD) team. This role supports the automation infrastructure that maintains lab efficiency.
Timeframe
- Full-time and onsite positions available.
- January-August (Spring-Summer)
- May/June-December (Summer-Fall)
- August-December (Fall)
Pay
- Hourly rate range: $17.90 - $50.90
What You'll Do
- Support the development and maintenance of liquid-handling robotics used in Preclinical Manufacturing and Process Development (PMPD) labs.
- Build and test 3-D printed lab tooling and fixtures.
- Contribute to automation projects across upstream, downstream, and analytics teams.
- Write and test basic programming scripts to support automation workflows.
- Provide hands-on lab support alongside automation development.
- Troubleshoot equipment and workflow issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists across multiple teams.
- Document automation processes and improvements.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Relevant majors: Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science.
- Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree and be returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position.
- Must commit to 40 hours per week during the specified timeframe.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or within the community preferred.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
