About the Role
The Plumbing Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Plumbing Engineer will design, review, and optimize plumbing systems for water supply, drainage, and sanitary installations in building projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and interpret plumbing design drawings.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) teams.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
- Inspect installations.
- Troubleshoot system issues.
- Support project planning.
- Advise on suitable industrial sanitary and copper plumbing materials.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective, and technically sound solutions.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Plumbing and Water Supply system design and implementation.
- Skills in Plumbing Design and Building Services for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Skills in Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination and integration with other building systems.
- Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and safety regulations related to plumbing and water supply.
- Experience with technical drawings, CAD software, and interpreting engineering plans is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Capability to work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in plumbing engineering or building services in the Mumbai region or similar urban environment is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Relevant technical education such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.
