About the Role

MMR Universal Ventures Pvt. Ltd. is a growing organization in the construction and infrastructure sector, focusing on delivering quality work, cost-effective solutions, and timely project completion. This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Bangalore Urban.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Conducting cost estimations.
• Supporting tenders and contract documentation.
• Monitoring project costs.
• Assisting in cost planning.
• Providing regular cost reporting to project stakeholders.
• Coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and suppliers to ensure accurate measurements, valuations, and cost control.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance with relevant standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
• Cost Control and Cost Management skills.
• Experience in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying or estimation software.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Prior experience in construction or infrastructure projects in a similar role is an advantage.
